David + Zahra’s November Field Wedding

Weddings

This month we are welcoming the new season highlighting David + Zahra’s field wedding that took place in November 2021. This day was full of rich color and inspiration, leaving us daydreaming about our upcoming fall weddings. Scroll through to view this couple’s special day!

Fall is that time of year where bold colors usher their way into wedding details and attire. Zahra’s bridesmaids were captivating in their maroon bridesmaids dresses–the perfect compliment to the wedding florals (keep scrolling to see stunning florals throughout the entire wedding!).

Notice David’s thoughtful attire details: his beautiful, patterned tie and pocket square!

Intimate, heartfelt vows

Before the ceremony, David and Zahra read each other intimate vows. As the reality that they were about to become husband and wife set in, the emotions ran high. After the vows were shared, the couple celebrated by taking some portraits together. The sun peaked through the autumn trees in the valley creating a picture perfect backdrop.

Dreamy field Ceremony begins!

A favorite feature we loved in this wedding: the use of florals–cascading and as aisle markers. Zahra + David chose to use our handmade cross adorned with flowers by Luna Rose Florals.

Post wedding ceremony, the bride and groom can relax and take in all the love from their guests. You’ve walked down the aisle, joined your union with the most important people in your life, and now next on the list: celebrate!

Modern wedding reception with a Persian twist!

Zahra decided to honor her Iranian heritage by adding in elements of Persia to their wedding reception. The reception menu was full of the bold flavor’s of authentic Persian food from Rumi’s kitchen, a local spot in Atlanta.

In Persian culture, couples showcase a “Sofred Aghd” during their wedding reception. This can be seen in the photo pictured above. The Sofred Aghd features a decorated table holding objects that symbolize the couple’s union in marriage. The objects displayed have special meanings that tie into the couple’s journey ahead. Customary items that will be seen are candles–signifying light, a mirror–signifying eternity, coins–symbolizing wealth and a prosperous life, honey–representing a sweet life together and more! It’s always a joy seeing into our couples world and learning from their backgrounds!

From the outside looking in, we can feel the party brewing inside the barn. The laughter, the feet shuffling on the dance floor, the DJ lights trailing on the walls…scroll to see this couple and their guest’s dance moves!
